Used MOSFET RFQ Checklist for Bulk Buyers

Prepare a clear used MOSFET enquiry with complete part numbers, batch evidence, inspection requirements and delivery terms.

Published 1 November 2026 · Mosvanta editorial · Updated 4 November 2026

Specify the complete part number, quantity, accepted condition and required lot evidence before comparing prices. Add the sample approval process, inspection scope and delivery terms. Ask suppliers to separate confirmed stock from sourced quantities and identify any alternatives explicitly. Keep unknown specifications marked for confirmation.

A useful used MOSFET enquiry identifies the exact device, the acceptable condition and the evidence needed to approve a batch. Quantity alone is not enough to compare offers. This checklist helps purchasing teams turn a short parts list into a quotation that an engineer can review.

1. Identify the part before asking for a price

Provide the manufacturer, complete manufacturer part number, package and clear photographs of existing markings. Include suffixes when available. A short top marking may not identify a unique ordering code. If the number is uncertain, label it as unconfirmed and ask for identification evidence rather than treating a catalogue match as proof.

Attach the manufacturer datasheet revision used by your engineering team. State whether alternatives are acceptable. Similar voltage and current ratings do not establish interchangeability; package, pin assignment, drive conditions and application requirements still need review.

2. Define the condition you will accept

Write explicitly whether you accept pulled parts, unused surplus, cleaned leads or mixed date codes. Ask the seller to separate different conditions and batches in the quotation. Request actual batch photographs showing markings, leads, package surfaces and packing, rather than relying only on a representative product image.

3. Agree on evidence and sample approval

Ask what inspections are available, which devices are sampled, what measurements are recorded and whether the records identify the offered lot. If testing is required, agree on conditions and acceptance limits before payment. A statement such as “tested” does not specify the scope of testing.

Define a sample approval stage and state whether the bulk order must come from the same identified lot. Keep an approved sample record and agree how differences or nonconforming deliveries will be handled.

4. Make commercial comparisons consistent

Request quantity breaks, available quantity, quotation validity, packing method, dispatch lead time, destination and delivery terms. Distinguish ready stock from quantities that still need sourcing. Ask what shipping, taxes and import handling are included so that apparently low unit prices do not hide different scopes.

Have purchasing and engineering review the same requirements. Leave unknown fields marked “to be confirmed”; guessed specifications make a quotation harder to evaluate. Start with our voltage and brand directory, then use the quotation page to organize your request. Confirm the available submission method on that page.

What should stop an order?

Pause approval when the full part identity, agreed condition or evidence needed for your decision is unresolved. Ask the supplier to clarify the specific gap. Keep the response with the order record so that a later buyer can see what was actually approved.
